ACI Europe’s 2020 Airport Quality Service (ASQ) Awards have been presented, applauding the best airports in the field of customer service according to public reviews. In this regard, ACI Europe commented that the coronavirus pandemic has played a significant role in changing customer views and expectations regarding air service quality, and as such, a new award, ‘Best Sanitary Measures by Region’, was added and awarded to 15 winners.
The ACI report said the newly added questions helped airports to assess customer feedback on new health protocols and recognize their success during this process.
ACI’s health certification program was launched last year and since then 240 airports have been certified.
Further, the report notes that European airports have been successful in collecting the required data despite the challenges they faced.
